Have you ever seen folk music combined with Jean Tinguely-like metal constructions? During the sound performance on Saturday 18 October, 3-5 PM, by Twan Bracco Gartner and Ed Schulte, this vision becomes reality as they interact with sculptures from Britte Koolen’s exhibition Vigor.

In an afternoon rich with subdued sounds and iron constructions, the performance seamlessly aligns with the tension embedded in Britte’s sculptures. The subtle interplay between the materials and colours lends the sleek, geometric forms an unexpected vulnerability.

As a sound artist, Twan Bracco Gartner navigates between neoclassical, folk, ambient, and drone music. Fascinated by repetition and variation, he creates space for contemplation and introspection in his compositions. Ed Schulte is a visual artist and musician, is a visual artist and musician with a fascination for metal. He likes to breathe new life into the material by turning it into moving sculptures or using it as a medium for sound.

We warmly invite you to join us for this experimental afternoon, where sound and sculptures merge into a single, immersive experience.
